The NVC Act requires that endangered species be considered when considering claims for damages under Part of the EPandA Act . This document forms the official Commonwealth and New South Wales State Recovery Plan for the species. Crown Lands Act 1989 and in the case of private land in accordance with the requirements of the NVC Act and the Rivers and Foreshoes Improvement Act 19 8; • Determination of NPWS as land manager and powers. This Act obliges the Director General of the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) to prepare recovery plans for all species, populations and ecosystems listed as threatened or vulnerable under the TSC Act. 5 Environmental Assessment The New South Wales Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EPandA Act) requires approval and decision-making authorities and the Director-General of National Parks and Wildlife , to consider an appropriate frequency . 3 Implementation of the recovery plan The TSC Act requires an authority to take all appropriate measures to implement the initiatives contained in the recovery plan for which they have agreed to be responsible. 2.
