 courses in Cairns
Why is this important? The Cairns area is historically significant due to its natural landforms, which greatly influenced the choice of site and the development of the city of Cairns and the surrounding hinterland. This in turn greatly affected the population of the Cairns area - initially Melanesian and Chinese labor moved in and southern Europeans, especially Italians, later moved into industry. The cities of the region developed differently. The latter resource remained an important industry in the region for a long time. The development of that city was supported by the state, which built the Babinda Hotel and then helped the compromise with the Babinda Township Law in an attempt to stabilize an otherwise mobile population. Cairns is located on a narrow coastal plain surrounded mostly by mountain ranges. Natural resources such as gold and tin and natural resources such as timber have historically played an important role in the development of the region as they provided the impetus for the establishment of Cairns Harbour. The development of the Cairns region was due to the discovery of rich minerals such as gold and tin, but when these were exhausted, agriculture, mainly sugar cultivation, became the basis of the economy of that Queensland region. The Cairns area is of historical importance for the development of an agricultural industry suited to the special tropical climate. How is that important? The City of Cairns (City of Cairns) and the Cairns District are of historical, technical and social importance to the State of Queensland.
