Prioritize and address vulnerabilities to reduce the risk of exploitation. Configure and manage security infrastructure to protect against unauthorized access. Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze logs and detect anomalous activities. Forensic Analysis:Perform forensic analysis on security incidents to understand the scope, impact, and root causes. They need to stay updated on the latest cyber threats, security technologies, and industry best practices to effectively address the evolving landscape of cybersecurity risks. Network and System Security:Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions. Industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), may also be part of the training or pursued separately. Utilize threat intelligence to proactively defend against emerging threats. Document findings for future reference and improvement.
